We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Summer Camp Teacher to provide engaging and safe experiences for school-age children in a fun, structured, and nurturing environment. This position supports children through a variety of recreational, social, and enrichment activities during the summer program.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead age-appropriate summer camp activities and experiences.
- Supervise school-age children at all times (indoors, outdoors, and during field trips).
- Support social development, teamwork, and positive peer interactions.
- Ensure a safe and structured environment during all activities.
- Assist with transitions, meals, and daily routines.
- Use positive behavior guidance strategies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of camp spaces.
- Communicate with families through Brightwheel.
- Work collaboratively with staff.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Experience with school-age children preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be comfortable driving children for field trips.
- Must know how to swim and supervise children in water activities.
- CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain).
- Must pass background check.
